Care through Disaster - a deep dive

Course summary

With our partners Australia reMADE, we asked our communities "what does it mean for people to be cared for through disaster?" and "what sort of support do communities need?" The answers are a fascinating deep dive into the wisdom of community and all that individuals have to offer. But it also draws out the systemic barriers we face to embedding 'care' as a guiding principle in all that we do.

In this second course in our Care through Disaster series we explore how care is a fundamental aspect of preparing for, living through and recovering from disaster. We know you care - this research and the course looks to enhance our understanding of why thinking about care in a systemic way is a crucial lens through which to consider our work in times of disaster.
