Care through Disaster - applying a
care lens

Course summary

With our partners Australia reMADE, we asked our communities "what does it mean for people to be cared for through disaster?" and "what sort of support do communities need?" The answers are a fascinating deep dive into the wisdom of community and all that individuals have to offer. But it also draws out the systemic barriers we face to embedding 'care' as a guiding principle in all that we do.

In this third course in our Care through Disaster series we explore how to apply a care lens to our work. We know you care - but in the bid to 'fix' whatever has gone wrong, the systems we work within don't always allow us to centre care the way we'd like to. This course provides suggestions on how to practice 'care' in a systemic way across our work.
